The Lighthouse Christian Learning Center, a ministry of Lighthouse Church, offers 2 - 4 year olds the opportunity to learn, grow and be nurtured. Housed in newly renovated facilities that are convenient to Mt. Pleasant's residential/commercial development center, Lighthouse Christian Learning Center (LCLC) focuses on developing reading, math, science, computer and art skills.
 It is the philosophy of LCLC to provide a safe, nurturing and loving environment to all children entrusted to us; with and emphasis on small class sizes and low student/teacher ratios (see pictures of what's happening at LCLC in our photo gallery). We offer a challenging curriculum combined with devotions and weekly music and chapel times designed to promote both educational and spiritual growth.
Since June 2000, LCLC's experienced staff, led by Director Julie Allen, has provided warm and inviting classrooms, age appropriate toys and center areas, and safe playgrounds that encourage learning through play, as well as socialization with other children.
Our goal is to ensure that LCLC children develop socially, emotionally, academically and spiritually to help prepare them for the next school-age level. We help our children develop a positive self-image, while giving them the opportunity to grow as God intended. It is our hope that all our children will have a very positive academic experience and develop a real love for God while at LCLC. It is our pleasure to serve you and your children!
Entrance Requirements
All children must be 2 - 4 years of age by September 1. By state law, a record of immunization is required and must be on file with the LCLC Director no later than September 1. All children must be potty trained prior to entering the three year old program.
